    FARR 30

The North Sails Class Sail Development (CSD) works with the best designers worldwide to bring you reliable sails that get results. CSD Farr 30 sails come from designers who are world champion Farr 30 sailors themselves. They trust the product because they use the product.

For us, every regatta is a sail test, and we are constantly working to make sure our CSD sails are at the top of the Farr 30 class. North’s CSD Farr 30 sails have won both inshore and offshore championships, offering you a proven, fast, and versatile package made with the most advanced sail manufacture technology in the industry. We have compiled years of tuning tips to optimize sails, boat and crew, and the Class Sail Development brings it all to you.

UPDATE FROM THE TOUR DE FRANCE

The Tour de France stopped on July 8th in La Trinité sur Mer. So I spent the whole day on a RIB to check that everything was going well. And the good news is: the North-powered boats are fast and happy!

Courrier Dunkerque, the Farr 30 that has won pretty much everything this year, is now killing the race. They had a good but conservative start last week but have been pushing on the winning button since last weekend.

    Here are the rankings...

    1. Courrier Dunkerque SOUBEN Daniel 58 pts North Sails
    3. Purflo Les Thermes Marins Saint Malo LEBOURDAIS François 130 pts North Sails - 1st amateur crew!
    4. Espoirs Ile de France NICOL Jean Pierre 137 pts North Sails
    7. CSC HEC Ecole Navale GAUTHIER Hervé 161pts North Sails - 1st student crew!
    8. Manche - Basse Normandie CHARON Benoît 165 pts - North Sails
    11. Côtes d’Armor LETERTRE Stéphane 209 pts North Sails

Check out this great footage from the offshore leg between St Quay and La Trinité (215 milles), Courrier Dunkerque won 2.5 milles ahead of the nearest boat and the first 5 teams were all North-powered!
