    G-Series Gennakers

For cruising sailors looking to enhance their offwind performance, North's G-series Gennakers™ have been recently updated for smooth handling under autopilot steering. To further improve flying manners, each North Gennaker mold is optimized for your specific aspect ratio and fore triangle. G-Series Gennakers feature TrueRadial™ construction for a remarkably smooth, stable, easy-to-trim shape.

    G0

Derived from the famous Code-0 asymmetrics used by winning Volvo Ocean Racers, the optimized shape and depth of the G-0 allows for efficient sailing at tighter angles and/or stronger winds than other G-Series Gennakers. The G-0 can be ordered with integral roller furling, a Snuffer Plus or free-flying.

    G2

The G-2 Gennaker, the largest and most powerful made by North, is designed to excel in light-to-moderate running and reaching. Its forgiving shape allows it to be cleated and flown even with autopilot steering.

    G1 - G3

North’s most versatile Gennaker has the same forgiving traits as our G2, but in a smaller, flatter shape. Great for light-air reaching and running or broad reaching in windier conditions. G3 is the heavier version of the G1.

    North SnufferPlus

SnufferPlus™ is an ingenious system that makes setting and dousing your Gennaker easier and safer (especially for shorthanded crews) by gathering and encasing it in a Nylon tube. SnufferPlus features a special tapered tube that ensures smooth operation and molded funnels (poly, fiberglass or carbon, depending on boat size) designed to minimize twists and wraps while gathering the sail. With SnufferPlus, you deal with an easy-to-handle tube rather than arms full of sailcloth blowing over the rail. A convenient control line quickly pulls the SnufferPlus up or down.
